Location: Chevy Chase, MD
Position Type: Live-In (Rotating Schedule)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable live-in caregiver to support a female client in Chevy Chase who is recovering from hip surgery following a fall and is also managing skin cancer. This role requires hands-on assistance, attentiveness, and a strong commitment to providing quality care in a home setting.
This position requires an immediate start, and candidates must live in the local area or nearby.
Schedule:
Rotating shifts: Monday–Thursday and Friday–Sunday
Compensation & Benefits:
$270 per day
Private sleeping quarters and bathroom provided
Designated time for rest/sleep
Responsibilities:
Assist with all activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Provide mobility and transfer support (client uses a walker)
Prepare meals
Complete light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, making the bed, etc.)
Provide supervision and ensure client safety
Support overall comfort and daily routine
Home Environment:
Client’s bedroom and bathroom are located upstairs
Home is equipped with a stair lift
Requirements:
Must be able to start ASAP
Must live locally or within a reasonable commuting distance to Chevy Chase
Previous live-in caregiving experience required (CNA/GNA preferred)
Reliable, patient, and attentive to client needs
Ability to assist with mobility and personal care
Must be physically strong and capable of handling the physical demands of the role, and able to confidently demonstrate this during the interview process
