NOW HIRING: MALE LIVE-IN CAREGIVERS

Compensation: Competitive — based on experience and reliability
CLIENT: 28 year old male is seeking a male caregiver to live-in with him. Male works and attends online classes and he does not have any cognitive issues. He has muscular dystrophy and needs help transferring, repositioning, and driving him to work.
SCHEDULE:
Two caregivers rotating weekly OR
One caregiver covering weekdays and one covering weekends
WHAT WE NEED
We are looking for caregivers who have:
- Strong attendance and reliability
- Experience with mobility assistance and oxygen safety
- A patient, calm, and respectful demeanor
- Professionalism and excellent communication
SIMPLIFIED DAILY DUTIES
Safety and Mobility:
- Assist with all transfers
- Walk with him at all times; no independent walking
- Monitor for dizziness, fatigue, or shortness of breath
Oxygen Support:
- Ensure oxygen is running at the correct flow
- Check tubing daily and keep it free from hazards
Personal Care:
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Maintain clean linens and proper hygiene
Meals and Hydration:
- Prepare simple, easy-to-eat meals
- Encourage regular drinking and monitor for swallowing issues
Medication Reminders Only:
- No medication administration
- Watch for changes in condition including breathing, skin, pain, or confusion
Companionship:
- Use visual cues and written communication when needed
- Provide calm emotional support
Light Housekeeping:
- Laundry, tidying, and maintaining a safe environment
Emergency Awareness:
- Call 911 for any breathing difficulty, chest pain, or serious fall
