Job Summary
We are seeking a live in compassionate and dedicated Assisted Living Caregiver to join our team. We also are seeking a part time live out caregiver to cover two 12 hour shifts. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This position requires a strong commitment to supporting individuals with various needs, including those in memory care and those with disabilities. As an Assisted Living Caregiver, you will be responsible for assisting residents with daily living activities while fostering a positive and supportive environment. The property has separate living quarters for the live in caregiver position in a detached casita.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist residents with mobility and transferring as needed.
- Monitor and record vital signs as required.
- Engage residents in social activities and encourage participation in group events.
- Support residents with meal preparation and feeding when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for all residents.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals regarding care plans and changes in condition.
- Document care provided accurately in compliance with facility policies.
- Uphold the dignity and respect of each resident while promoting independence.
Experience
- Previous experience in senior care, nursing homes, or group home settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with memory care systems and direct support for individuals with disabilities is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with residents and their families.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
- A genuine passion for helping others and making a difference in their lives.
- Compensation depends on expereince.

Hiring for all shifts
You must have the following certifications to be considered for this position:
Certified Caregiver Certificate
CURRENT DPS fingerprint clearance card
CURRENT TB test - within the past 12 months
CURRENT CPR First Aid certification
Memory Care Services training certificate preferred.
Please do not apply if you don't have all the required certifications.
We will also provide required training for new DHS rules for Memory Care Training for all certified caregivers if you don't have a training certificate.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN, Per diem
Pay: $1,000.00 - $3,000.00 per month
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
