Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients, particularly those with varying needs such as seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring specialized care. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting independence while delivering compassionate care.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility support.
- Provide patient observation and monitoring to ensure the well-being of clients.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning and cooking according to dietary needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Administer medications as per care plans and assist with medication management.
- Support clients with mobility aids such as Hoyer lifts when necessary.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
- Document care provided and any changes in client condition while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client’s quality of life.
Experience
Candidates should have experience or skills in the following areas:
- First aid and CPR certification is preferred.
- Previous experience in home health, assisted living, group homes, nursing homes, or long-term care settings is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, memory care, hospice care, or working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques including vital signs assessment is beneficial.
- Experience in direct support roles or social work can enhance your application.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
