We are looking for a highly reliable, experienced, and compassionate CNA or experienced caregiver to work full-time in a private elderly care home environment. This is a serious long-term position for someone who genuinely understands elderly care and is comfortable assisting with all activities of daily living.
This is a live-in position. The employee will have their own:
- Private bedroom
- Private master bathroom
- Walk-in closet
We are only looking for serious applicants who are dependable, professional, emotionally mature, and willing to work hard.
Pay
- $17.50 – $25.00 per hour
- Full-time hours
- Consistent long-term work available
- Pay depends on experience, certifications, reliability, and skill level
Requirements
- CNA / NAC certified preferred
- Must have previous elderly caregiving experience
- Experience with:
- toileting
- showering/bathing
- changing briefs
- transferring residents
- medication assistance under nurse delegation
- mobility assistance
- dementia or memory care preferred
- Must be willing to live in the home
- Must speak and understand English
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Must be physically able to assist elderly residents
- Must pass background check
- Must be respectful, clean, patient, and professional
Responsibilities
- Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Showering and hygiene care
- Toileting and incontinence care
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping and maintaining a clean environment
- Medication assistance under nurse delegation
- Monitoring resident safety and comfort
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Helping maintain a calm and respectful household
