Caregiver – One-to-one ratio, Homecare & Private Duty
OPA Home Care is seeking experienced Caregivers in the Marietta area with the following qualities:

- Alzheimer’s/dementia experience a plus!
Basic Requirements
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including, but not limited to, eating, bathing, dressing, transferring, meal prep, light housekeeping duties, and maintaining continence
- Provide companionship and maintain healthy relationships with clients and their families
- Providing support with hobbies, studies, and social activities
- Maintaining positive perspective, outlook and atmosphere
- Keeping a watchful eye on patient/member to avoid mishaps, ability to redirect and apply calm and soothing methods to avoid negative change in moods
- Actively participate in documenting and reporting changes in health or status of client
- Remain positive, upbeat despite symptoms and struggles of dementia
- Ability to maintain and manage potentially repetitive conversation with light upbeat, banter and good nature
- Complete assigned training and education as necessary
- Ability to use electronic software for timekeeping
Live-In $17/hr
Companion Care $14.50/hr
2-hour visits (4hr Pay) $15.00/hr
1-2 ADL Visits $15.50/hr
2+ ADL Visits $16.00/hr
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $221/daily
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
