This is private client that pays his caregivers through a payroll service. We are professional, autonomous, collaborative and our goal is to hire a reliable and mature caregiver to live-in and work with a quadriplegic male in the Powder Springs area. This caregiver will work in a team setting with the other caregivers on staff. The ideal caregiver will have a safe driving record, be comfortable with pets, be neat and tidy, pay close attention to detail, among other very important attributes..

We are currently seeking a FULL TIME LIVE IN CAREGIVER to join our team. The Live-in Caregiver will be responsible for the day to day activities of the high-functioning client and the home. This position will be helping the client live his life by helping care for his two small dogs, upkeep of his his home, visiting friends, and more. You will drive the client's accessible vans to run errands and transport the client to appointments and outings. He likes to assist in cooking and smoking meats on his smoker. We are very family oriented and welcomes family members from time to time (with the client's discretion and leniency). If the comfortably matched caregiver has a spouse, or even a small child, we can still discuss options for employment. We use electronic devices for note taking and task tracking. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, excellent customer service skills, and a desire to provide quality care. We are W-2 employees meaning the required taxes will be taken out. The daily rate is $432 (gross) and the rate for a 12-hour shift is $216 (gross).
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the day-to-day administrative operations of the home. This includes but is not limited to: meal planning and prep, transportation, light housekeeping, feeding pets, and more.
- Coordinate with other staff members on tasks and projects as assigned by management.
- Maintain a clean working space at all times. This includes client's area and any shared spaces with other caregivers.
- Proper handwashing techniques
- Time management or organization
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with clients and coworkers in a professional manner.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision or as part of a team.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times when working with clients or other staff members.
