Job Objective: The live in is a compassionate, attentive and trustworthy individual who will care for and assist our clients to maintain their health and safety at home. The Live in will provide emotional support as clients cope with aging, sickness or disability. The ideal candidate will be sympathetic, patient, responsible, attentive and detail-oriented.
Hours/Shifts: 24hrs 4 to 3 days
Essential Job Functions
Taking a genuine interest in clients by listening to their needs, engaging them by conversing with them; provide companionship, assist client to feel safe and supported;
Planning appropriate social activities or hobbies, and fostering engagement in activities and social events;
Supervision of activities of daily living, such as bathing and dressing;
Ensuring the environment is clean and safe by performing basic housekeeping, such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, organizing, laundry;
Planning for and preparing meals according to client's preferences or requirements;
Remining client about taking medications;
Shopping and errands; may include driving client;
Monitoring clients, recording and reporting any developments or concerns to the Supervisor and other appropriate parties
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: $180.00 - $220.00 per day

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
