Job Overview
We are looking for a compassionate, dependable, and experienced caregiver to provide personalized, one-on-one elder care in a home environment. The ideal candidate is not only nurturing and attentive, but also professional, patient, and deeply committed to enhancing the quality of life for the individual in their care. A strong sense of integrity, empathy, and dedication is essential for this role.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily hygiene including bathing, dressing, and incontinence care
- Medication assistance and reminders
- Prepare fresh, nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Light housekeeping including cleaning and maintaining tidy living spaces
- Laundry and linen changes
- Engage in light physical activity such as walks and gentle companionship
- Monitor general well-being and communicate any concerns to the family
Requirements:
- Must speak Spanish fluently (this is essential for communication)
- Experience working with elderly individuals, preferably with personal care duties
- Must be patient, trustworthy, and attentive to detail
- Ability to be a live-in caregiver, delivering around the clock care as needed
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- References required
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPR or First Aid certification
- Previous experience with elderly-related health issues is a plus
- Reliable transportation
