Travel: Primarily based in Delray Beach, FL, with seasonal travel as needed

Position Overview
A private family is seeking a warm, capable, and dependable Live-In Companion to support the lady of the house in her early 80s within her private residence in Delray Beach. This is a lifestyle-focused companion role designed for someone who enjoys being an overall helper — providing daily companionship, light household support, and assistance with maintaining a comfortable, well-run home.
This is not a clinical nursing role. Rather, the family seeks someone kind, attentive, and proactive who can assist with daily structure, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and general support. The home includes friendly dogs, so comfort around pets is essential.
Private housing is provided within the principal’s residence.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and daily social engagement
- Prepare simple, healthy meals and assist with kitchen upkeep, ordering groceries, and maintaining a well-stocked refrigerator with healthy snacks and meals for the principal.
- Light housekeeping to maintain tidy, organized living spaces
- Assist with laundry and wardrobe
- Assist with daily routines and provide gentle reminders as needed
- Accompany the principal on light outings, appointments, or walks
- Monitor overall well-being and communicate observations to family when appropriate
- Assist with errands and household logistics
- Travel seasonally with the principal as needed
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in a private companion or caregiver role
- Warm, patient, emotionally intelligent, and dependable
- Comfortable cooking simple meals and maintaining a clean home
- Comfortable living on-site full-time
- Professional, discreet, and respectful of privacy
- Strong references from prior private households
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Confident driving locally (valid driver’s license required)
