Duties
- Provide comprehensive assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor residents’ health by taking vital signs, observing patient conditions, and reporting changes promptly to healthcare professionals
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption as needed
- Support residents with dementia or Alzheimer’s by implementing memory care strategies and ensuring a safe environment
- Maintain cleanliness of living spaces through regular cleaning tasks and ensure a hygienic environment for all residents
- Document care activities meticulously, including patient observations, medication administration, and adherence to care plans
- Collaborate with healthcare teams, social workers, and family members to deliver holistic home & community care that respects each resident’s dignity
Qualifications
- Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorders
- Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and recognizing changes in health status
- Excellent communication skills for working effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Compassionate attitude coupled with a proactive approach to caregiving that promotes independence and quality of life
Requirements:
- Medical clearance (cleared of al communicable diseases & TB test negative) within last 6 months
- 75+ hours of training
- 1 year work experience
- NO criminal background
- Eligible to work in the USA
