Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Caregiver to provide comprehensive in-home care for individuals with diverse needs. The ideal candidate will support residents with activities of daily living, medication management, and emotional well-being, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment. Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Monitor and record vital signs, observe patient conditions, and report changes promptly
Administer medications accurately following prescribed care plans and HIPAA regulations
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning and preparation
Support residents with memory care needs, dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other cognitive impairments through specialized techniques
Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts and manage heavy lifting safely when necessary
Maintain a clean and safe living environment through regular cleaning and sanitation tasks
Follow all safety protocols including CPR and first aid procedures; respond effectively in emergency situations
Document care activities diligently in compliance with healthcare regulations and care plans
Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and family members to ensure holistic resident care
Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being

Requirements

APDcompliance

Prior experience in assisted living, home health, hospice care, or long-term care settings preferred
Knowledge of patient monitoring, vital signs assessment, medication administration, and dementia or Alzheimer’s care techniques
Certifications such as CPR and First Aid are highly desirable
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is a plus
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely; familiarity with Hoyer lifts is advantageous
Strong observational skills for patient safety and condition monitoring
Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
Flexibility to work in a live-in setting with a commitment to providing 24-hour care as needed
Valid driver’s license may be preferred for transportation purposes
