Breakthroughs LLC is seeking a compassionate and dependable Weekend Live-In Caregiver to support male adults with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. This position focuses on creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment while encouraging community involvement, independence, and meaningful social interaction
Schedule:
- Shift begins: Friday at 5:00 PM
- Shift ends: Sunday at 5:00 PM
Accommodations:
- A sofa bed is provided for overnight stay during the weekend shift.
Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on support with activities of daily living (ADLs) based on individual needs.
- Assist with meal preparation and daily household routines.
- Accompany and support individuals during community outings and recreational activities.
- Engage residents in fun weekend activities, including WWE Night, movie nights, and shared meals.
- Foster a positive, respectful, and supportive living environment.
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all individuals in care.
What Were Looking For:
- Reliable, patient, and compassionate individuals.
- Ability to provide hands-on care and emotional support.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred, but not required.
Qualifications:
- APD certifications (or willingness to obtain, depending on agency requirements)
- Level 2 background screening (or ability to pass)
- Experience with developmental disabilities is a plus
- Dependable, patient, and attentive
