JPosition Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced live-in caregiver to provide full-time support for an adult client in a private residence. The caregiver will assist with daily living activities, ensure safety and well-being, and help maintain a comfortable, respectful home environment. This role requires overnight presence and flexibility in scheduling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Provide medication reminders in accordance with care plans
- Support mobility, including transfers and ambulation
- Monitor and report changes in physical or mental condition
- Perform light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, tidying living spaces)
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Transport client to appointments, errands, and social activities
- Maintain accurate daily care logs and communicate with family or healthcare providers as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Current driver’s license and clean driving record (required)
- Previous caregiving experience with adults (live-in experience preferred)
- Ability to follow care plans and safety protocols
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physically able to assist with mobility and transfers
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
Work Environment & Schedule:
- Live-in position in a private home
- Private sleeping accommodations provided
- Schedule may include designated off-duty hours; flexibility required based on client needs
Pay: $200.00 - $250.00 per day
