Looking for a devoted live-in caregiver to work our residential care home with senior residents. All living accommodations covered. Living accommodations are in a beautiful residential home in quiet and suburban neighborhood. Plus, a month salary based on experience.
This position is a 5-day (24-HR per day) work week (Two (2) days off weekly). This position includes overnights that allows for sleep, but you must be present at the home to care for the residents.
Hard Requirements of Caregiver:
- Pass a criminal background check
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to speak and write in English
Responsibilities:
-Dressing, grooming, restroom, bathing assistance
-Medication administration
-Transporting to/from activities, appointments, and Day Support
-Monitoring and Reporting health concerns
-Following specialized diets, meal prep, service of meal and meal supervision
-Laundry and housekeeping
-Oversee care, health, and safety of residents
-Complete required paperwork
Skills:
- Proficiency in first aid techniques
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with mobility needs
- Experience in group/care home or caregiving settings
- Knowledge of ADLs (Activities of Daily Living)
- Competence in medication administration and dosage management
- Experience providing direct support to individuals in need
- Strong resident care skills with a focus on senior care
