Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Live-In Caregiver to provide exceptional support and care for a senior requiring assistance with daily activities. This vital role involves creating a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment, ensuring the well-being of the resident while promoting independence and dignity. The ideal candidate will be energetic, proactive, and experienced in various aspects of personal care, medical support, and household management. Responsibilities
- Assist senior with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs),sometimes including dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to track health status accurately
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Conduct patient observation to identify changes in health or behavior, reporting concerns promptly to healthcare professionals
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing
Qualifications
- Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing home environments, or group homes
- Knowledge of patient care techniques including assisting with ADLs, medication administration, and patient monitoring
- Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, and HIPAA compliance are highly desirable
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer’s/dementia care, memory care needs or autism is preferred
- Strong observational skills for patient safety and health monitoring
- Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills to foster trust and rapport with seniors.
