A live-in caregiver with home care experience taking care of people is needed. The caregiver will be assisting clients with food preparation, managing the home, assisting with bathing and toileting. Taking care of the environment and maintaining the cleanliness of the Independent living facility is a priority.
Job Description Summary
Caregiver with experience working with individuals in a facility setting. The knowledge and ability to assist with transfer from wheelchair, assist with walking, bathing, shampooing, and other activities of daily living is required.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to clients in the facility, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and document patient health status, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations.
- Support individuals who need assistance by promoting independence and dignity in the care provided.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, including laundry and housekeeping tasks.
- Collaborate with the Administrator to deliver optimal client care and report any changes in condition to the Administrator.
- Knowledge and ability to assist with transfer from wheelchair to chair and assist with shower transfer.
- Meeting safety needs of clients properly with equipment use, such as a wheelchair, during the shift.
- Planning and preparing simple meals.
Qualifications
- Meets all agency training requirements for the position.
- Processes and maintains current CPR, TB, background clearance, Live Scan fingerprinting clearance, first aid certification, and must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Demonstrates kindness, patience, and excellent personal hygiene.
Pay: $2,500.00 per month
