Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Caregiver to provide comprehensive in-home care for individuals with diverse needs. This role involves supporting clients with daily activities, health monitoring, and emotional well-being in a home setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care, disability support, or long-term care environments, and possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those they serve. This is a full-time position requiring living on-site to ensure continuous, personalized care.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance
- Monitor patient health by checking vital signs and observing for changes in condition
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed care plans and HIPAA regulations
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment through regular cleaning and organization
- Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts, wheelchairs, or other assistive devices safely
- Support clients with memory care needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care strategies
- Document patient observations and communicate effectively with healthcare providers or family members
- Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being
- Follow all safety protocols including CPR, first aid, and emergency procedures
Qualifications
- Prior experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or hospice care preferred
- Knowledge of patient monitoring, medication administration, and care planning
- Certifications such as CPR and First Aid are highly desirable
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or dementia is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with transfers using Hoyer lifts or similar equipment
- Strong observation skills with attention to patient safety and comfort
- Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills
- Ability to adhere to HIPAA regulations ensuring client confidentiality
- Flexibility to live on-site as part of the caregiving team

Pay: $230.00 per day
