Acuity Homecare is seeking warm-hearted individuals who enjoy serving seniors. We are a locally owned and licensed home care and staffing company providing care for seniors and others with special needs.
We are currently seeking live –in caregivers to provide care to our many physically and cognitively impaired clients.
Duties of the Live-in caregiver will include:
- Interacting with client and family on a daily basis
- Personal Care
- Companionship
- Meal Preparation
- Light Housekeeping
- Shopping/ Errands
- Medication Reminders
- Transportation
- Personal Organization
- Following the Client Care Plan
- Assisting with meals
- Transfers using appropriate assistive devices
- Bathing
- Toileting
- Dressing and grooming
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 2 years experience as a caregiver
- Must be able to pass background check
- Understands quality of care objectives
- Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired but not required
- Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Home Health Aides (HHAs), or Personal Care Attendants (PCAs) preferred.
