Best Life Residential is looking for a full-time Live-In Caregiver to assist a young man on the autism spectrum in his West-Side of Madison home. This Individual is on the Autism Spectrum, and builds strong rapport with staff. He requires assistance with all personal cares and daily living skills. Experience in behavioral redirection would be desired for this position. Best Life would provide all on the job training. This position would include weekend coverage. Salary will be based on the amount of hours a live-in agrees to. The more you work the higher the salary. At minimum two weekends a month is a requirement in addition to your normal weekday hours. Hours will be discussed more during the screening process. Rent and utilities would be covered by the company. Live-in would just need to purchase their personal food items and toiletries. Live-In would have their own private room and bathroom. No pets allowed. Start date would be 12/01/2025.
Best Life Residential provides emotional, physical and behavioral support for disabled adults in their home setting, and we are looking for reliable, caring, attentive staff to support and engage with our wonderful individuals. No experience or CNA certification required.
Job Overview:
Assist with individual’s daily needs including, but not limited to:
· Following individual’s care plan and documenting behaviors
· Providing direct personal cares such as feeding, bathing and giving medication
· Helping with walking, exercise and movement, sometimes with the use of equipment
· Providing a variety of activities at home and in the community to keep the individual engaged and active
· Light housekeeping
· Other activities based on individual’s needs and abilities
Job Highlights:
· $55,000-$70,000/year
· Gas money provided for transporting the individual on community outings
· No caregiving experience or CNA certification required; full on-the-job training provided
