Position Overview:
Elderhart is seeking a caring and dependable Live-In Caregiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide quality care and maintain a clean, comfortable, and supportive home environment for residents.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility).
- Provide supervision and companionship to ensure residents’ comfort and safety.
- Prepare and cook nutritious meals; serve and assist residents during mealtime.
- Perform housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, and room organization.
- Assist with medications per facility policy.
- Observe and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition.
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring standing, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs) and pushing.
- Support an engaging, positive, and respectful community environment.
Qualifications:
- Prior caregiving experience required (RCFE experience a plus).
- Must live on-site and be available for flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
- Must pass background check, TB test, and required caregiver training. First Aid and CPR Certifications required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $3,000.00 - $4,000.00 per month
