Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Caregiver to provide exceptional in-home care for individuals requiring assistance with daily activities and medical needs. This vital role involves creating a safe, supportive environment that promotes independence, dignity, and well-being. As a Live-In Caregiver, you will work closely with clients to deliver personalized care tailored to their unique needs, ensuring comfort and safety around the clock. Duties

Provide comprehensive patient observation to monitor health status and respond promptly to changes or emergencies
Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
Administer medications accurately following medical instructions and document medication records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Perform vital signs assessments such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates regularly
Support clients with specialized care needs such as Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, memory care, hospice support
Operate medical equipment including Hoyer lifts, catheters, and other assistive devices safely and effectively
Maintain detailed medical documentation and ensure all records are accurate and up-to-date
Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary restrictions and assist with meal planning and preparation
Conduct light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment
Support patient care through effective communication with healthcare providers and family members while adhering to HIPAA standards

Experience

Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred
Demonstrated experience working with individuals with disabilities or chronic health conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease or dementia is advantageous
Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures related to long-term care is essential
Proven ability to maintain accurate medical documentation and record keeping
Experience using mobility aids like Hoyer lifts or performing catheter care enhances your suitability for this role
Strong background in patient observation, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring is required

Qualifcations

Current AZ Caregiver Certification
First Aid/CPR Certification
Negative TB Test
Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
Dementia Care Training Completion
