Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Housekeeper to provide essential support in a home environment. This role combines caregiving responsibilities with housekeeping duties to ensure a safe, clean, and nurturing atmosphere for clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of patient care and be skilled in working with individuals with diverse needs.

Duties

Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, dressing and preparing and serving meals.
Monitor patients' health and report any changes or concerns to family members or healthcare professionals.
Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and transportation to appointments.
Maintain a clean and organized living space by performing housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dusting, and vacuuming.
Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship to enhance their quality of life.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality and privacy.

Requirements

Previous experience in caregiving or home health preferred.
Knowledge of CPR and first aid is highly desirable.
Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques and caregiving best practices.
Understanding of home care services and direct support principles.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a home setting.
A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
