At Parentis Home Care, you are part of a coordinated care team—not just a caregiver. Our team members play a critical role in supporting clients and families through meaningful, consistent, and dignified care. We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Live-In Caregiver to provide dedicated support for a client in San Juan Capistrano.
This position requires a caregiver who is comfortable providing hands-on personal care, supporting daily routines, and safely transporting the client using a medical van for appointments and community activities.
What You'll Do
- Provide safe, reliable care in accordance with the client's individualized care plan
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and meal preparation
- Support mobility, transfers, and ambulation while maintaining client safety
- Provide companionship and meaningful engagement throughout the day
- Transport the client to medical appointments, community outings, and errands using a medical van
- Monitor and report changes in the client's condition to the care team
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment
- Accurately document care provided and communicate updates with the Parentis care team
- Promote client independence while ensuring comfort, dignity, and quality of life
Schedule
- Live-in assignment in San Juan Capistrano
- Private sleeping accommodations provided
- Consistent, ongoing case with a stable schedule

What We're Looking For
- Active Home Care Aide (HCA) registration with the California Department of Social Services
- Current TB clearance and physician's statement of good health
- Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Experience driving larger vehicles, wheelchair-accessible vehicles, or medical vans preferred
- Current auto insurance
- CPR certification (American Heart Association preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of professional caregiving, direct care, or personal assistance experience
- Experience supporting clients with mobility challenges preferred
- Strong communication skills, professionalism, and reliability
- Ability to work independently while following care plans and maintaining HIPAA compliance

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
