Curantis Home Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable professional caregiver to provide live-in weekend care for a client in the East York, PA area. This is a meaningful opportunity to provide attentive, high-quality care in a supportive home environment alongside a respectful and engaged family.
Schedule
- Live-In Weekend Shift
- Saturday at 12:00 AM – Monday at 8:00 AM (every weekend)
- Caregiver must remain on-site for the full duration of the shift
Position Overview
This is a live-in caregiving position requiring continuous presence throughout the weekend. The caregiver will provide hands-on support, comfort, and supervision while ensuring the client’s safety and dignity at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide full assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Deliver bed-bound care, including positioning, hygiene, and comfort
- Assist with incontinence/perineal care (required)
- Monitor for safety, skin integrity, and overall well-being
- Maintain a clean and supportive care environment
Communicate updates or concerns with the care team/family
- Provide consistent, compassionate companionship and reassurance
Client & Environment
- Client is bed-bound at this time
- Requires caregiver experienced with perineal care
- Home is a non-smoking environment; caregivers must refrain from smoking during shifts and on the premises
- Family is humble, respectful, and supportive of care staff
Qualifications
- Professional caregiving experience required
- Perineal care experience required
- Experience with high-acuity or bed-bound clients strongly preferred
- Ability to provide patient, calm, and compassionate care
Reliable, attentive, and professional Strong communication skills
Compensation
- Pay is commensurate with experience
