What is Live-In Care?
As a live-in caregiver, you will stay in the client’s home and provide support throughout the day.
- 16 working hours per 24-hour period
- 8 hours reserved for sleep (5.5 uninterrupted hours guaranteed)
- Breaks provided during the day
Caregiver Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, toileting)
- Provide companionship & emotional support
- Prepare meals and assist with nutrition
- Perform light housekeeping
- Provide medication reminders
- Assist with mobility and fall prevention
- Support Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
Requirements
- 1+ year of professional caregiving experience (REQUIRED)
- Experience as a Caregiver, CNA, or Home Health Aide (HHA)
- Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background check
- Strong communication and reliability
- Compassionate, patient, and professional attitude
