Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Live - In Home Caregivers to provide essential support to one person in their home. We need Friday/Saturday/Sunday only. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for her.
Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide patient care including monitoring vital signs and reminding to take medications.
- Prepare meals and assist with meal planning.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Engage her in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation.
- Support her with mobility assistance.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance her mental well-being.
Experience
Candidates should possess experience or skills in the following areas:
- First aid and CPR certification is preferred.
- Previous experience in home health, senior care, assisted living, or long-term care settings is highly valued.
- Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, Alzheimer's disease, or dementia care is a plus.
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques and patient monitoring practices is essential.
- Experience in cleaning, meal preparation, and following care plans effectively.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility needs. We welcome applicants who are dedicated to providing high-quality caregiving services while fostering a supportive environment for her.
- Must have a CNA license and are able to pass a background check. Must speak English and be a US Citizen or have a green care/work permit.
