Job Description:
We are currently seeking a compassionate, reliable, and certified Home Health Aide (HHA) for a live-in case (3 days per week) in Nassau County, NY.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced aide who is dedicated to providing quality care and support in a home setting.
Schedule:
- Live-in position
- 3 days per week
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Provide mobility support, including transfers, walking assistance, and positioning.
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe environment.
- Remind clients to take medications as directed (no administering unless certified).
- Offer companionship, emotional support, and engage clients in activities to enhance quality of life.
- Monitor and report changes in client’s physical or emotional condition to the supervisor or nurse.
- Follow care plans and agency policies to ensure consistent, safe, and respectful care.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
