LIVE-IN CAREGIVER NEEDED
*Formal caregiving experience / certification is not required but appreciated
A live-in caregiver is needed beginning March, in north Colorado Springs. Training with current caregiver will be provided. The position includes room, board and $1500 monthly stipend. This position is good for a retired person, or someone who can work flexibly from home part time.
Employer’s mobility and fine motor skills have been impacted by disabilities related to Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis, 60 surgeries and a below-the-knee amputation (has a prosthetic limb). The person seeking a caregiver is an extroverted woman who is socially and physically active (recumbent bike riding and swimming.) Her career has been in the field of education and mental health and she currently works from home part time. This involves seeing clients in her home or online.
Requirement of position:
- Caring female who will live in home, capable of moderate lifting and helping with activities for daily living to include, but not limited to, hair care, dressing, showering, light housekeeping, shopping, plant care, and meal prep.
- Flexibility is a must as the employer’s work schedule varies daily. Constant care is not required. Attention to detail is important.
- Must have a driver’s license. Employer has a vehicle which will be used for transportation needs (appointments, church, gym/pool, etc)
- Open communication and cleanliness is a must.
- Non-smoker
Preferred/not required:
Christian faith, CNA or caregiving experience.
