About the Role:

Wellspring Personal Care is looking for a live-in caregiver on the south side of Chicago. This position would be 3 or 4 days per week and would mean living in the client’s home for the 3 or 4 days/shift and caring for a very nice older woman with disabilities. A food allowance would be provided. The pay rate is competitive. Please only apply if you have experience with live-in care

Responsibilities:

Provide daily personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
Assist with mobility and transportation to appointments and activities.
Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning based on dietary needs.
Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
Document care provided and report changes in client condition to supervisors.
Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote mental well-being.
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance quality of life.

Requirements:

Experience in Live-in care required.
Strong communication skills and compassionate demeanor.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Reliable transportation for travel to client locations.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Background check and references required.
CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
