We are seeking two experienced, compassionate caregivers—ideally friends or professional peers with similar backgrounds (not a requirement)—to live full-time in a large three-story home and provide consistent, high-quality care for an 89-year-old woman with Alzheimer’s disease. The position is 3 mos to 18 mos (negotiable), stable position for two individuals who work well together and value teamwork, structure, and providing dignified dementia care in a home setting.
Located in North Idaho, the home offers immediate access to skiing (at Silver Mountain Resort, with Gondolo directly from town and a waterpark), hiking and rafting along the Coeur d’Alene River. This role is ideal for caregivers who appreciate an active outdoor lifestyle during scheduled time off. The two caregivers also will have a third day-time person to provide additional care on scheduled days each week.
