Overview
We are property management company seeking a candidate for a more personal job offer. One of our crew members has an elderly mother living with dementia. We are seeking a kind and dedicated Live-In Caregiver to provide support and companionship. She does not require assistance bathing or walking. She is currently staying in the Riverside area in a two bedroom apartment. Pay can include rent, utilities, and amenities with additional pay or we are open to a set hourly rate. We are also open to any part time care givers out there, especially if you have experience working with dementia patients. Nursing professional preferred, but not a strict requirement. Duties
- Monitor and record vital signs, medication administration, and overall health status
- Support with memory care needs
- Meal preparation
- Assist with driving to medical appointments and grocery needs
- Light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing
- Provide emotional support and companionship
- Assist with mobility and balance exercises
Requirements
- Proven experience in home & community care or assisted living environments
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring
- Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, and relevant nursing or caregiving credentials preferred
- Experience working with seniors, or those requiring memory or dementia care is highly valued
- Strong communication with family and the rest of our Care Crew
- Flexibility to work in a live-in setting with the ability to provide 24/7 support as needed
- Compassionate and understanding of dementia patients needs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
