We are seeking a motivated and attentive Live-In Caregiver to join our team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive in-home care, ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of clients who require assistance with daily activities. - Assist clients with all activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and mobility transfers using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary
- Monitor patients’ health by observing vital signs, medication adherence, and overall condition, reporting any concerns promptly
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment through regular housekeeping and laundry duties
- Support clients with mobility and transfers, utilizing proper techniques and assistive devices to ensure safety
- Follow care plans meticulously, documenting observations and updates in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Provide companionship and social engagement to promote emotional well-being
- Previous experience in home & community care or assisted living environments preferred
- Knowledge of patient observation, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring required
- Experience working with seniors, individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer’s or dementia care highly desirable
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards essential
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts necessary
- Demonstrated ability to work with people with autism or other disabilities preferred
- Certification in CPR and First Aid required; additional certifications in hospice or nursing home care are a plus
