Seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-in Caregiver to provide exceptional in-home care for individuals with diverse needs. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring specialized memory care. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, home health, and long-term caregiving, with a focus on promoting independence, safety, and well-being. As a Live-in Caregiver, you will work closely with clients to deliver personalized support within their homes, ensuring comfort and dignity at all times.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance quality of life
- Maintain cleanliness of the living environment through light housekeeping and laundry duties
- Follow detailed care plans developed by healthcare professionals or social workers
- Document patient observations and report any significant changes to supervising healthcare providers
- Support residents with cognitive impairments such as dementia or Alzheimer’s disease through specialized memory care techniques
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols including CPR and First Aid procedures
Skills
- Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, or long-term care environments
- Knowledge of patient monitoring, vital signs, medication administration, and dementia or Alzheimer’s care
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism
- Excellent communication skills for working with clients, families, and healthcare teams
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with mobility as needed
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of patient information
- CPR certification and First Aid training is required
- Compassionate demeanor with strong observational skills for patient safety and well-being
