We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Live in Home Caregiver to provide support and care to a individual in her home. This vital role involves assisting with daily activities, ensuring the safety of the patient.
Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living including bathing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
- Monitor patient health.
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning client living areas to maintain a hygienic environment.
- Observe and document changes in client condition or behavior, reporting any concerns promptly to healthcare professional.
- Maintain compliance with home health regulations and HIPAA confidentiality standards at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in home care.
- Expertise in caring for seniors.
- Excellent communication skills to engage empathetically with clients and coordinate with healthcare teams
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensuring client privacy at all times
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting tasks required for resident transfers or mobility assistance
- Compassionate attitude combined with patience and resilience in challenging situations
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
Work Location: In person
