Important: What “24-Hour Live-In” Means
Our 24-hour extended shifts are full live-in shifts, not overnight shifts and not 8–12 hour shifts.
You are with the client for the full 24 hours.
Flat-Rate Pay Structure:
- Pay is a set flat rate per 24-hour shift
- 17 hours are paid as “awake time”
- The remaining hours are considered “sleep time”, when the caregiver is expected to rest (you remain in the home and available if needed)
This structure ensures clear expectations and a predictable rate for every shift.
What You’ll Do
- Provide compassionate personal care (bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing)
- Support safe ambulation and mobility
- Assist with meal preparation, medication reminders, and companionship
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Document care easily using our mobile charting app
