Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In-Home Caregiver to provide personalized care and support to individuals in the comfort of their own homes. The ideal candidate will assist with daily activities, medication administration, and ensure the well-being of our clients.
Duties:
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules
- Support clients with mobility issues and lifting when necessary
- Implement behavior management techniques as needed
- Deliver high-quality patient care with empathy and respect
- Drive clients to appointments or outings as required
- Maintain a safe and clean home care environment
- Respond promptly to emergencies and provide first aid when necessary
Experience:
- Proven experience in home care or a similar role
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques
- Understanding of patient care principles and practices
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- First aid certification is a plus
- Comfortable working with healthcare systems or in nursing home settings
