This is a LIVE-IN Caregiver role, where you will reside at the assigned facility 4 to 5 days a week with 2 - 3 days off, including either rotating weekends or set days off. You will have a private room with all utilities covered, allowing you to save on housing expenses while working in a supportive environment. Our location houses six residents.
Each day, you’ll receive 8 hours of assistance from additional staff to ensure you have support with resident care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to residents, including bathing, toileting, dressing, and personal hygiene assistance
- Cook and serve meals, assist with feeding as needed, and ensure a safe and clean environment
- Administer medications per healthcare guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized living space for residents
- Monitor residents overnight, with most asleep from 7-8 p.m. until 6 a.m.
Work Environment:
- LIVE-IN accommodation with a private room and utilities included
- 8 hours of daily support from additional staff
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a residential assisted living facility required
- Bilingual candidates preferred
- CPR and First Aid certified
- Ability to pass a Level 2 background check
- Reliable transportation and strong communication skills
