What Is a Live-In Caregiver?
A live-in caregiver stays in the client’s home and helps them each day. You’ll live with the client for two months or longer at a time. You’ll have your own room for sleeping at night, and during the day, you’ll help with the clients daily needs.
What You’ll Do
- Help with bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal prep
- Remind clients to take their medicine as directed
- Assist with walking, transfers, and simple exercises
- Keep the home clean, safe, and organized
- Check and note basic vital signs if asked
- Be a kind, patient companion
- Work with the care team when needed (home health or hospice)
Pay & Benefits
- Up to $1,500 per week
- Full training and ongoing support
Who You Are
- Kind, patient, and reliable
- 18 years or older
- Valid driver’s license
- Personal Vehicle
- Able to pass a background check
- No prior caregiving experience required
Skills That Help (Nice to Have)
- Basic first-aid knowledge
- Comfort supporting people with disabilities or long-term conditions
- Able to keep a tidy, hygienic home
- Can take and record vital signs accurately
