Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated full-time caregiver to provide hands-on support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. This role focuses on assisting with daily living tasks, teaching independent skills, and ensuring a safe, supportive environment tailored to each individual's needs.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Assist individuals with daily living activities (meal preparation, medication reminders, personal care, etc.)
✔ Support residents in learning independent living skills (cooking, budgeting, personal hygiene, household management)
✔ Foster a safe, comfortable, and respectful living environment
✔ Provide emotional support and understanding while encouraging community involvement
✔ Assist with transportation and participation in community activities
✔ Monitor personalized care plans and track progress toward individual goals
✔ Work collaboratively with families, healthcare providers, and support staff
✔ Follow all safety procedures and organizational policies

Qualifications & Requirements:

* Previous experience in caregiving, direct support, or a related field (preferred, but not required)
* Passion for helping individuals with developmental disabilities live independently
* Ability to assist with mobility and daily physical tasks as needed
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Must be reliable, patient, and compassionate
* Ability to pass a background check and required training
* Valid driver’s license
